Man charged after alleged attempted robbery in Bournemouth

A man has been charged after an alleged attempted robbery at a shop in Bournemouth.

Detectives issued a CCTV appeal on Wednesday 7 February 2018 following a reported attempted robbery at Boscombe Stores in Christchurch Road near to the Boscombe precinct shortly before 11.45pm on Wednesday 17 January 2018.

It is alleged that a man had entered the store, walked behind the counter and demanded money from the till. Nothing was reportedly stolen.

A 35-year-old man from Bournemouth was charged with attempted robbery and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday 27 February 2018.
