Witness appeal following collision in Weymouth

Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

At around 5pm on Wednesday 21 February 2018 a member of the public reported witnessing a collision on Littlemoor Road involving a black Suzuki motorcycle.

The motorcycle collided with the central reservation at a crossing point directly outside of St Andrew’s Primary School. Officers attended, however the rider and their pillion passenger had left the scene prior to their arrival.

Police Constable Jason Chant, of Dorset Police, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this collision or anyone who may have been travelling in the area at the relevant time and have dash cam footage covering the incident to contact police.

“I would also make a plea to the rider and pillion passenger involved to come forward.”
