Update – man due in court in connection with reported criminal damage in Dorchester

A man is due to appear in court in connection with reported criminal damage in Dorchester.

Shortly before 5am on Saturday 29 July 2017 Dorset Police received a report of an alarm sounding at a premises in South Street and it was discovered that a number of shopfronts in the town centre had been damaged.

A 27-year-old man from Scarborough in Yorkshire was arrested and has now been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday 22 January 2018 for nine offences of criminal damage.
