Witness appeal following theft of horsebox in Bournemouth

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following the theft of a horsebox used as part of a DJ set in Bournemouth.

The horsebox was stolen from a driveway in Warwick Place in Boscombe sometime between 10pm on Monday 1 January 2018 and 7am on Tuesday 2 January 2018.

The Rice horsebox trailer was painted yellow with black strips down the side. It forms part of a DJ stage and contains equipment used to construct the DJ booth.

Officers are now releasing images of the horsebox as part of their investigation into the theft.

Police Constable Jessica Richmond, of Bournemouth police, said: “This is a very distinctive horsebox and is a prominent feature at local events.

“It is essential for the victim’s livelihood and I am appealing for anyone who sees a horsebox matching the description given or who has any information as to where it might be to contact police immediately.”
