Update - witness appeal following reported burglary near Dorchester

Officers investigating a reported burglary at an industrial site near Dorchester have arrested a man.

It was reported at around 7.50am on Sunday 15 October 2017 that a break-in had occurred overnight at The Wardon Hill Trading Post on the Clay Pidgeon Industrial Site at Wardon Hill, with several items of high value jewellery, figurines and vintage items stolen.

Following enquiries a quantity of the reported stolen items have been recovered.

A 31-year-old man from Yeovil has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released under investigation. 

A 30-year-old man from Yeovil voluntarily attended a police station in relation to the offence and has also been released under investigation.
