Update - appeal after armed robbery at Bournemouth store

A man arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a store in Bournemouth has been released without charge.

At 10.52pm on Monday 5 June 2017 officers were called to reports that a man armed with a handgun had entered One Stop on Seabourne Road, approached the till, asked for money and stole a till tray containing a quantity of cash. 

No one was physically injured.

A 54-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested in connection with this incident and released under investigation. Following a detailed police investigation it has been decided that no further police action will be taken against him.
