Man charged in connection with alleged assault in Bournemouth

A man has been charged in connection with an alleged assault outside a Bournemouth pub.

The incident happened at around 12.20am on Sunday 4 June 2017 outside the Dancing Duck on Poole Road.

The alleged victim, a Poole man aged in his 30s, sustained a broken jaw and a broken tooth.

A 27-year-old man of no fixed abode has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm and appeared before Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday 14 August 2017. He did not enter a plea and is next due to appear before Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday 14 September 2017.
