Update – appeal after alleged robbery in Christchurch

A woman arrested in connection with an alleged robbery at a home in Christchurch has been released without charge.

An investigation was launched after the incident in the Oak Avenue area on the morning of Wednesday 1 February 2017.

It was reported that a woman aged in her 80s had been tied up and robbed in her own home. Cash and jewellery were taken from the address.

A 32-year-old Bournemouth woman was arrested on suspicion of robbery on Saturday 18 February 2017 and has now been released without charge.

Efforts are continuing to locate a male suspect in the case and the investigation is ongoing.
