Appeal to locate wanted man believed to be in Bournemouth

Detectives are issuing an appeal for help from the public to locate a man who is wanted on suspicion of a burglary offence.

Carl Jones, 30 and of Halewood in Liverpool, is known to frequent the West Howe and north Bournemouth area. Officers have carried out a number of enquiries in a bid to locate him but he has not been found.

The burglary offence is reported to have occurred on Saturday 27 August 2016 in the Ferndown area.

Carl Jones is described as six feet three inches tall, of medium build and with short brown hair.

Detective Sergeant Paul Auger, of Dorset Police, said: “I am releasing a photo of Carl Jones in the hope that someone will know of his whereabouts.

“We know that he visits Bournemouth on a regular basis and I am certain that someone locally knows where he is.

“While we have no information to suggest that Carl Jones presents a direct risk to the public, anyone who sees him should not approach him but immediately contact Dorset Police on 999.”
