Fail-to-stop injury collision in Bournemouth – witness appeal

Officers investigating a reported fail-to-stop collision in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

At approximately 9.30pm on Friday 28 April 2017 a road traffic collision occurred between a bicycle and a car on Gladdis Road in the West Howe area of the town. It was reported that the vehicle failed to stop at the scene.

The rider of the bicycle – a 57-year-old man from Bournemouth – sustained a broken ankle.

Police Constable Mike Henstridge, of the traffic unit, said: “I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident to please contact me.”
