Update: Witness appeal after serious road traffic collision in Bournemouth

A woman being treated for serious injuries following a collision in Bournemouth has sadly died.

Officers were called to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Southbourne Road at 11.45am on Wednesday 26 April 2017.

The pedestrian, an 87-year-old Bournemouth woman, suffered serious injuries to her legs and head and was taken to hospital.

She has now sadly died as a result of her injuries.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the collision who have not already spoken to police to contact them.
