Witness appeal after man found with stab wounds in Bournemouth

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was found with stab wounds in Bournemouth.

Police received a report from the ambulance service at around 11.40am this morning, Thursday 27 April 2017, that a man had been found injured in an alleyway between Manor Road and East Overcliff Drive.

The man, aged in his 40s and from Bournemouth, was taken to hospital and his injuries are described as potentially life-threatening.

Detective Inspector Wayne Seymour, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are still investigating how the man came to sustain these injuries and I would ask any witnesses or anyone with information to please contact us immediately.”
