Appeal after theft of quad bike and farming equipment

Officers are appealing for information after a quad bike and farming equipment were stolen from a field at Tarrant Gunville near Blandford.

The items were taken between 8pm on Monday 3 April and 8am on Tuesday 4 April 2017.

The green 400cc Yamaha Kodiak quad bike has a distinct bracket on the front that is used for carrying fencing equipment. 

A silver Bateson trailer, 10 reels of electric fencing wire and other farm fencing equipment were also taken, as well as six bottles of antibiotics, more than 20 red paint spray cans and other items.

Police Constable Nathan Harvey, of North Dorset Police, said: “This theft has caused the victim considerable financial loss and inconvenience to his business.

“I would ask anyone who has any information about the incident, or who comes across any items matching the descriptions given, to please contact me.”
