Witness appeal after pub burglary in Dorchester

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a pub in Dorchester.

The incident happened at around 6.30am on Saturday 1 April 2017 at the Bakers Arms pub on Monmouth Road.

It was reported that the offender gained entry to the building and stole a quantity of cash.

Dorchester Deputy Neighbourhood Inspector Matt Chutter said: "I am appealing to anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident to please come forward.

"If you have information that could assist with the investigation, you should contact police or call Crimestoppers anonymously."
