Update: Man released without charge following rape investigation in Bournemouth

A man arrested in connection with an allegation of rape in Bournemouth has been released without charge.

An investigation was launched into an incident in the early hours of Sunday 9 October 2016 at an address in the town centre.

A 25-year-old Verwood man came forward and was arrested on suspicion of rape.

He has now been released without charge.

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
