UPDATE: Man released without charge following sexual assault in Poole

A man arrested in connection with a sexual assault in Poole has been released from bail without charge.

Officers were called to Jellicoe Close off Constitution Hill at around 3.55pm on Wednesday 25 January 2017 following reports a man approached a woman and forcibly persuaded her to get into a white van. Once inside the van the man sexually assaulted her. 

A 43-year-old man from Christchurch was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault but has been now been released without charge.

Police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
