UPDATE: Man and woman released without charge following attempted robbery in Bournemouth

A man and woman have been released without charge following an attempted robbery in Bournemouth.

The incident happened at around 2.45am on Sunday 7 August 2016 along Old Christchurch Road in the town.

The victim, a 48-year-old man from Surrey, was reported to have been approached by a number of people outside Vodka Revolutions before being followed to Walkabout where the group tried to steal valuable items from the back pocket of the victim's trousers.

The victim sustained minor injuries, including bruising to his right eye and body.

A 36-year-old man of no fixed abode and a 29-year-old woman from Bournemouth who were arrested on suspicion of attempt robbery have been released without charge.
