UPDATE – Man charged following alleged stabbing in Bournemouth

A man has been charged in connection with an alleged stabbing in Bournemouth.

At around 5.13pm on Friday 30 September 2016 it was reported that a local man aged in his 20s had sustained a stab wound to his chest in Regent Drive in the Littledown area of the town. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment where he underwent surgery for his injuries.

A 20-year-old man from Middlesex has been charged with wounding with intent, robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and appeared before Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 14 January 2017. He is next due to appear before Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday 16 February 2017.
