Man charged with theft of Poppy Appeal collection boxes

A man has been charged with the theft of Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal collection boxes.

The 49-year-old man of no fixed abode is due to appear before Bournemouth Magistrates' Court today, Wednesday 16 November 2016, charged with seven counts of theft of collection boxes, two counts of theft from a shop and two counts of fraud by false representation.

The alleged incidents occurred between Sunday 2 October 2016 and Monday 14 November 2016 in the Poole, Bournemouth and Hampshire areas.
