Witness appeal following assaults in Bournemouth

Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses to come forward after three men were assaulted at a pub in the town.

At around 10.15pm on Friday 11 November 2016 an altercation occurred near to the front entrance of The Spyglass and Kettle pub in Stourwood Avenue in the Southbourne area.

Three men were assaulted during the incident by two unknown men.

The victims – a 23-year-old from Ferndown and two 26-year-old men from Bournemouth and Christchurch – sustained cuts and bruises to their heads. They were taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Mark Holmes, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the pub at the time of the incident and knows who was responsible for these assaults to please contact Dorset Police.”
