Two people charged after alleged aggravated burglary in Weymouth

Detectives investigating an alleged aggravated burglary in Weymouth have charged two people.

Police were called at 6.45pm on Friday 28 October 2016, to reports that a man had been assaulted with a knife at an address on King Street in Weymouth.

A Weymouth man aged in his 20s suffered cuts to his face. He was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

Two men were arrested at an address in St Thomas Street a short time later.

A 22-year-old man of no fixed abode and a 17-year-old boy from Weymouth have been charged with aggravated burglary and are due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates' Court on Monday 31 October 2016.
