Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a collision between two buses in Weymouth.
Officers were called at 10.37am today, Friday 30 September 2016, to reports of a collision between two single-decker buses, registered to First Buses.
Both buses were carrying passengers at the time of the incident and a number were injured.
Five people were taken to Dorset County Hospital by ambulance. Their conditions are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Seven people were taken to Weymouth minor injuries unit by bus for treatment.
And a further six people sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene but declined further medical treatment.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident. It was re-opened just after 1pm after the road was cleared.
Police Constable Angus Wilson, of Dorset Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident but has not yet spoken to officers to please contact Dorset Police.”
