Public appeal to find man missing from Bournemouth

Officers are appealing for help from the public as part of their ongoing enquiries to locate a man who has gone missing from Bournemouth.

Muhammad Ali Shahid, a Pakistani national and aged 19, was last seen by friends on Friday 14 May 2021 on Bournemouth seafront. He was reported missing to Dorset Police on Tuesday 25 May 2021.

Police Inspector Matt Buller, of Bournemouth police, said: “Muhammad left university where he was studying unexpectedly and has not been in contact with his family since.

“We have been carrying out extensive enquiries so far to try and locate him and are now appealing for anyone with information as to his whereabouts to please get in touch.

“Finally – if you see this appeal Muhammad, please contact us or your family and let us know where you are as we all just want to ensure you are safe and well.”
