Reported burglary in Corfe Mullen – witness appeal

Officers investigating an alleged burglary in Corfe Mullen are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

It is reported that some time between 9am on Thursday 22 April and 3.30pm on Sunday 2 May 2021 entry was gained to a property on Highmoor Road. 

It is alleged that the offenders gained entry by removing a pane of window.

A 42-year-old man from Bournemouth and a 38-year-old Poole man have been arrested on suspicion of burglary. They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Detective Sergeant Karen Penn, of the Priority Crime Team, said: “An investigation is underway into this reported burglary and we are carrying out a number of enquiries.

“I would ask anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area within the relevant timeframe to please contact Dorset Police.

“I am appealing for residents to please check their home CCTV systems or dashcams for anything of relevance to my enquiries.”
