Update – man charged in connection with reported commercial burglaries in Poole

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with two alleged commercial burglaries in Poole.

It was reported that a break-in occurred at Cyclefix in Ashley Road at around 5.10am on Wednesday 24 March 2021. Glass in the front door was reportedly smashed to gain access but it was not believed anything was stolen from the premises.

A further break-in was reported to have occurred between 9.30am on Tuesday 23 March and 9.30am on Wednesday 24 March 2021 at Clearway Pools in Ashley Road. A quantity of cash was allegedly stolen.

Following enquiries by officers, a 43-year-old man from Poole has been arrested and charged with two offences of burglary. He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 18 May 2021.
