Commercial burglary in Christchurch – CCTV appeal

Officers investigating a commercial burglary at a garage in Christchurch are issuing CCTV images of the suspect.

At around 9.55pm on Monday 1 February 2021 officers driving past the Shell garage on Barrack Road were flagged down by a member of the public, who informed them that an alarm was going off at the premises and a break-in had occurred.

It was reported that access had been gained to a safe and a quantity of cash had been stolen.

Police Constable Billy Forster, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into this burglary and we have obtained CCTV images of the suspect.

“His clothing is particularly distinctive and I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please contact us.”
