UPDATE: Alleged distraction burglaries – man arrested

A man has been arrested in connection with a series of alleged distraction burglaries in Dorset.

The 38-year-old man, of no fixed abode, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary offences and has been released on bail until mid-July 2016 pending further enquiries. 

Police were called to reports of three distraction burglaries on Wednesday 30 March 2016 along Albert Road in Corfe Mullen and one incident at Hill View in Charminster, Dorchester. 

Two further offences were reported on Thursday 31 March 2016 at Sandringham Court in Dorchester and Broadwindsor near Beaminster.
