Dorset Police is committed to promoting equality and diversity in the design and provision of all our services, development of policies, and employment practices.
The People, Confidence and Equality Team takes the lead role with regard to strategic people, confidence and equality matters for Dorset Police to ensure that the values and culture set out within the People, Confidence and Equality Strategy and Engagement Strategy are promoted.
They develop relevant policies, procedures and systems to promote confidence and equality, including comprehensive performance monitoring.
They are also here to provide professional advice to the force on all matters relating to confidence and equality for both our staff and our communities.
