Introduction

The Central Records section deals with the central filing, archiving and weeding function for the Force of:

  • Crime
  • Non-Crime & Collision Reports
  • Custody Records
  • Processing of Criminal Injury Compensation claims
  • Disclosure of Previous Convictions
  • Probation Service

 

Civil Disclosure

Any enquiries, in relation to the below areas of Disclosure should be made to the Civil Disclosure Officers within the Central Records Section.

  • Road Traffic Collisions
  • Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority
  • ACPO/ABI Memorandum of Guidelines on the Exchange of Information between Police & Insurance Companies - Crime Disclosure
  • Interviews with police Officers for Civil Proceedings
  • Witness summonses for Police Officers to attend County Court
