Local priorities

(Last reviewed December 2019)

1) ASB in Wyke Gardens - We are aware of an increase in reports around the area of Wyke Gardens. We are therefore increasing both our high visibility and plain clothes patrols at key times and working alongside the Dorset Council Community Safety Team to tackle the issues.

Please contact us or come to an engagement event to tell us your concerns.

You said - we did

This section is for us to share some of the daily work we do on your behalf.

You said
ASB on the Rodwell Trail.
We did
We conduct regular patrols on foot and cycle along the Rodwell Trail and deal with any offences that we encounter. We also have been working with local agencies and partner groups to tackle the issues the public are telling us about.
You said
Castle Cove Sailing Club - reports of youths setting fires and causing a general nuisance.
We did
We conducted regular patrols of the area and dealt with any offences we came across. The ASB now seems to have stopped, but we continue to monitor the area within our daily patrols.

You can contact us via the Dorset Police website or social media, where we also promote upcoming meetings and events. We are based at: Weymouth Police Station Radipole Lane Chickerell Weymouth DT4 9WW.

In an emergency

The Neighbourhood Policing Team works with colleagues across Dorset Police, but does not respond to emergency calls. If a crime is in progress or life is in danger, always dial 999 immediately, so we can help you as quickly as possible.
