Nothe & Chapelhay
Welcome to the Nothe & Chapelhay Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) who cover the Nothe, Chapelhay and Rodwell areas. We conduct regular patrols on foot, cycles and in vehicles so we are accessible to the people that live, work and visit the area.
Through our engagements we are a victim focused team and work closely with partner agencies to help resolve the policing priorities of the local community.
We conduct a variety of different engagement methods, including face-to-face meetings, social media interaction (Facebook & Twitter), online live chat and individual contact when required. Please do contact us with any issues or concerns that you have in the area and we will endeavour to respond as soon as possible.
We attend as many local events as we can to meet different people and provide updates on what the team have been focussing on and what issues are emerging, providing relevant crime prevention advice and reassurance. If you see us out on patrol, please stop and have a chat or ask any questions that you may have.

Neighbourhood policing improves the quality of life within Dorset communities. Working together with partner agencies and problem-solving with local people and groups, we will target the policing issues that matter most in your area.
Get in touch with us today to raise any issues you have and to find out what priorities we are currently working on. This is your chance to influence the service that the police, and our partners, provide.
You can contact us via the Dorset Police website or social media, where we also promote upcoming meetings and events. We are based at: Weymouth Police Station Radipole Lane Chickerell Weymouth DT4 9WW.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team works with colleagues across Dorset Police, but does not respond to emergency calls. If a crime is in progress or life is in danger, always dial 999 immediately, so we can help you as quickly as possible.
