Anti-social Behaviour
Anti-social behaviour (ASB) describes day-to-day incidents of crime, nuisance and disorder that make many people’s lives a misery – from litter and vandalism, to public drunkenness or aggressive dogs, to noisy or abusive neighbours.
Safe Schools Team
The SSCT is a partnership between Dorset Police and the Dorset Combined Youth Offending Service, with a remit to prevent and reduce anti-social behaviour, crime and wrong-doing amongst children and young people, and help keep them safe in a digital world.
Firearms Licensing and Advice
The primary objective of the Firearms and Explosives Licensing Department is to protect the public from harm. In addition, Human Rights legislation places a duty of care on the police to protect the wider community from firearms misuse by preventing unsuitable people from possessing firearms licences.

The Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) is a national scheme which allows those who are involved in community safety and/or traffic management, the opportunity to become accredited with limited powers to further assist them within their current role.
