Total number of police personnel deployed to cover all matches in each football season (overarching number).

Dorset Police will not disclose the number of police personnel deployed to cover each football match as this would hinder future law enforcement (Section 31).

Crime and Criminal Justice

Timeframe: August to May (for each football season) The overarching stats for:

·         All incidents and crimes reported at football matches/ stadiums broken down by football season & offence/incident type.

·         The number that resulted in an arrest broken down by football season and offence type.

·         Outcomes broken down by football season.

·         The number of football banning orders issued in each football season and the offences (with a caveat to explain that not all football banning orders are applied for/issued by Dorset Police. CPS, Magistrates Court or Crown Court will hold some information as well).

To publish at the end of each football season (2025/26 onwards).

Finance

The total cost for policing professional and semi-professional matches per football season.

To publish at the end of each football season (2025/26 onwards)

Care must be taken to ensure that no adverse tactical information is released around the football footprint and security measures.
