Summary of misconduct
A public misconduct hearing took place at Winfrith Headquarters between Monday 17 June and Friday 21 June 2024.
The allegations centred on an incident, which took place in April 2022 when Superintendent Peter Browning failed to stop an inappropriate conversation on a train in April 2022.
The panel found that Superintendent Peter Browning had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in regard to Authority, Respect and Courtesy and Discreditable Conduct and was guilty of misconduct. He was issued with a final written warning that will remain in place for three years.
