The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information:
I'd like to know the number of recorded thefts of a vehicle, and thefts from a vehicle (as separate figures please) in:
- the 12 months to March 7, 2022
- the 12 months to March 7, 2021
- the 12 months to March 7, 2020

If possible within the cost and time limits, could you include the type of vehicle stolen, and what items were stolen from vehicles, please.
We have included data relating to the type of vehicle stolen where this is available. As it is not a mandatory field there were a number of blanks, updated on the information as ‘not stated’.
To identify items stolen would require a review of every occurrence and this is not possible within the timescales.
