The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information:
We have obtained this data from our spiking database which is compiled using a keyword search on the OIC opening and closing summary of the OEL for `spike’ and `spiking’ which are then manually reviewed.
Please note we are unable to provide injection spiking data prior to 2021 as it was not recognised before this.
How many incidents of spiking were recorded by your force in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and how many of these reports resulted in an arrest.
I am looking for information in regards to both drinking and injection spiking.
