The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information:

We have identified these sexual offences where either the `Location Subtype’ or `Occ. Add, Common Name’ matches the keyword `school’. We have broken down details of the victim and suspects by adult/child where children are defined as under 18 years old.

Please note there is a possibility of historic offences being included in this data as we use the ‘occurrence reported date’ to identify crimes recorded during the time period requested 

For your force area, please could you provide a breakdown of all rape and sexual offences that were recorded to have taken place in the location of a school, for the last three school years (September 2020 to July 2021, September 2019 to July 2020 and September 2018 to July 2019) Please can you breakdown the statistics by:

(b) Type of crime - rape or other sexual offence
