The Dorset Road Safe Department has provided the following information: 

How many traffic lights are there in your local authority as of 9th January 2026?

Information not held by Dorset Police. This would be the remit of the local authorities 

How many of these traffic lights have fixed traffic light cameras (also known as red light cameras) as of 9th January 2026?

Dorset Police operate Red-light Cameras at 5 sites in Dorset.

How many cases of cars going through red lights were recorded by the cameras on the traffic lights in your local authority in each calendar year for the following years: 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025
