The Dorset Road Safe Department has provided the following information:

The figures show injury collisions involving at least one motorcycle reported to the Police within 30 days of the occurrence. It does not include medical episodes, off-road collisions, or confirmed suicides. 2026 figures are subject to change.

To fit with the requested stretches of road, we have had to try and define specific start and end points using roundabouts. The details of this are listed next to each table, with collisions shown being on and between these roundabouts. 

*All 2026 figures are for Jan to May 

Please provide the number of reported injury road traffic collisions involving at least one motorcycle on each of the following roads:

B3157 Coast Road, between Weymouth and Bridport
A35, between Bere Regis and Lyme Regis
A37, between Dorchester and Sherborne
A354, between Weymouth and Blandford Forum

For each road, please provide figures for:

Calendar year 2024
Calendar year 2025
January 1, 2026 to the latest available date

For each road and period, please break the number of collisions down by severity:

Fatal
Serious injury
Slight injury

Between Fleet Road Roundabout Chickerell and Crown Roundabout Bridport

Injury RTCs involving at least one motorcycle on A35 between Bere Regis and Lyme Regis
