The Performance Analysis Department has provided the following information:

Searches were completed within Niche for crimes with the Sexual Offence Categories of “Rape Male” & “Rape Female”.

Please provide the number of recorded rape offences by victim age at the time of the offence for offences recorded by Dorset Police between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2025.

I would be grateful if the information could be provided as a table showing:

- Victim age at the time of the offence (single years of age where possible, for example 0, 1, 2, 3 ... 90+).

- Number of recorded rape offences for each age.

No information held. ‘Age at time of offence’ is not a field recorded in Niche.

Please note that we have a ‘Person Age at Reported Date’ field and you may wish to resubmit a new FOI request for this data.

- Separate figures for female and male victims, if this information is readily available.

If disclosure concerns arise because of very small numbers, I would be happy for the data to be aggregated into two-year or five-year age bands where necessary.
