The Performance Analysis Department has provided the following information:
To obtain this data we have used our dog theft database for the time frame of 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2025
We manually reviewed all occurrences for the breed
Please provide the following information relating to reported dog theft offences for the financial years 2023/24 and 2024/25 (or the most recent period available), including offences recorded under the Pet Abduction Act 2024 where applicable:
- The total number of recorded dog theft offences reported during the 2023/24 financial year.
