The Performance Analysis Department has provided the following information:
We downloaded all data via the Niche Crime database on Business Objects.
Within the main crime group, we searched for ‘theft’ and within the OEL entry text, we searched for the keywords ‘cooking oil’.
Once the data had been downloaded, it was then filtered on the years requested and then all occurrences were manually reviewed for relevance to this request.
Please can you provide the number if reports you received regarding the theft of used cooking oil in 2021, 2024, 2025 and the year to April 2026.
