The Performance Analysis Department and the Hate Crime Lead have provided the following information.
Please note that data is only held from 21/05/2015 as this is when Niche was introduced.
I'm getting in touch to make a formal FOI request regarding anti-transgender hate crimes recorded by this police force, and the number of attempted prosecutions for those recorded hate crimes, in the past 10 years.
Please can I request the data for the following for the dates 01.01.2014 to 31.12.2024 inclusive:
- The number of transgender hate crimes reported per year from 2014 to 2024 inclusive

We have an overarching hate crime policy which covers reported crimes against transgender people.

When searching for prosecution data, please search for individuals charged or summoned for an anti-trans hate offence.
