The Road Safety Department has provided the following information.
These figures show all injury collisions reported to the Police within 30 days of the occurrence between Jan-Nov 2024 (as this is what we have validated at this time). It does not include medical episodes, off-road collisions or confirmed suicides.
Contributory Factors are only present for collisions where an officer attended the scene. Up to 6 factors can be selected and assigned to a vehicle, casualty or uninjured pedestrian involved in the collision. They are split by very likely or possible.
