The Performance Analysis Department has provided the following information.

Keyword search of all crimes with the Main Crime Group ‘Theft’ using the keywords provided.
Caveat/Limitations
Data is reliant on the presence of the keyword but not restricted to the word itself.
The figures may include thefts of such items as ‘electric bike’ or references to ‘car park’.
To identify information relating specifically and solely to ‘electric car chargers’ would require manual review of all 791 occurences. This would take well over the 18 hour fee limit.
• The number of thefts logged by your force which include the terms 'copper' 'electric' 'charger' 'car' in the summary of the offence for the year to date
• Please provide the figure for each of the following years: 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020
