Crimes recorded on crime information system – Niche
I am requesting a breakdown of the total number of reported aggravated burglaries/robberies of vehicles in your Police Force area.
We would also like to know the total number of stolen vehicles in your Police Force area in the same periods.
Can you provide me with:
1. A breakdown of the total number of reported stolen vehicles that were ‘aggravated’ burglaries/robberies. Could you please provide a breakdown for the past three years, including the past 12 months, from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025. And the same months for 2023-2024 and 2022-2023.
a. 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025
b. 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024
c. 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023
The table below was created by searching the Niche crime database for occurrences with the SC Description including the phrase “Aggravated Burglary” and manually reviewing to see if a vehicle was taken.
