The Legal Department and the Performance Analysis Department have provided the following information.
Searches were completed on Niche by filtering under the Crimsec3 group “stalking”, Harassment under the Crimsec3 group of “Racially or religiously aggravated harassment” & “Harassment” and Coercive/Controlling behaviour by searching for the HO code 008/67.
With regards to the presence of a tracking device, searches were carried out within the OEL for the keywords listed within the request, plus a few additional phrases such as “tracking device” and “tracking app” with the intention of reviewing the results to determine if one had been used. However, upon reviewing a few occurrences it became apparent that the majority of occurrences do not confirm the presence of a tracking device but instead are a case of allegations and denial, or advice given by police to the victim in case there is one.
