Freedom of Information (FOI) Act request ref: 01/FIN/25/2724
Version Date: 27/01/2025
There is police guidance online that suggests:
"Individuals who identify as gender-fluid may require two cards to reflect their gender on different days."
Are you able to let me know how many trans/gender-fluid officers currently have more than one warrant/identity card to reflect different genders?
The Administration and Business Support Department have provided the following information.
Since June 2023 (earliest held records) the Force have not received any request for 2 ID cards to be created for the same person to reflect different genders.
Please Note: The ID/warrant cards do not state a gender, but their full name and photo.
