The Alliance Professional Standards and South West Regional Procurement Department have provided the following information.

The details I require are:
• What, if any, software is used for managing and tracking vetting of police staff?

WPC Core-Vet solution, Core-DMS, Core-Vet Web Forms and Address Interface

• If purchased software is used, what was the start date, duration and value of the contract?

Contract started on 01/03/2021 and is valid for 24 months with options to extend for 12 months and then a further 12 months. £59,078 ex VAT inclusive of options to extend.

• Is there an extension clause in the contract and, if so, the duration of the extension?

Yes. options to extend for 12 months and then a further 12 months.

• Has a decision been made yet on whether the contract is are being either extended or renewed?

Extended: yes. Renewed: not yet.

• Who is the senior person/s (outside of procurement) responsible for managing the force staff vetting process?
