The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information.
We have downloaded all data via the crime Niche database on Business Objects.
Data then filtered on the main crime group to show burglaries, theft and theft from a motor vehicle and the keywords of ‘tool’ and ‘tools’
We also reviewed all occurrences to check what location the tools were stolen from.
Please can I request this data to be broken down by year. I.e number of reports in 2020, 2021, 2022, etc.
Between January 2020 and January 2024, the number of reports of tools being stolen from vehicles
The table below shows all reported occurrences of tool theft from vehicles between 1st January 2020 and 31st January 2024*
